The Film

This knitting project is a contribution to the making of a film to mark the anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War in 2014. WAG wanted to tell the story of an unknown soldier and chose a war memorial at random. We found a remarkable archive related to one soldier, Robert Crowder and a beautiful stained glass window dedicated to his memory.
